Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels not only offer an eye-catching design, but also maximum safety. Each wheel design has been specially adapted to the vehicle and must pass a wide range of endurance tests in accordance with strict Mercedes-Benz guidelines. These tests are even more stringent than the legal requirements and include simulations in road traffic and examinations of the materials in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities. Bright-turned wheels must also withstand highly corrosive salt spray and a 28-day climate change program. Only when all the tests have been passed can the wheels be added to the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels. The light-alloy wheels do not include tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts or wheel locks.
