This Shipping and Return Policy applies to purchases made through autopartsmarketplace.lt, operated by Auto Parts Marketplace UAB, located at Gariūnų g. 49, Vilnius, 02300, Lithuania. By placing an order through the Website, you confirm that you have read and understood the terms described below. These terms outline the processes related to order handling, shipping procedures, delivery, returns, exchanges, and refunds.

1. General Provisions

This policy governs the conditions under which goods are shipped, delivered, returned, and refunded. In all matters not explicitly addressed here, the applicable legislation of the Republic of Lithuania and relevant European Union regulations shall apply, including but not limited to:

  • Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights

  • Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR)

  • Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania

The customer is responsible for ensuring that the information provided during purchase and delivery is accurate and complete. We are not liable for delays, failed deliveries, or loss caused by incorrect or incomplete order information provided by the customer.


2. Order Processing

Orders submitted through the Website are processed within 1–2 business days after payment confirmation. Processing time may be extended in the following cases:

  • High order volume during seasonal or promotional periods

  • Orders requiring VIN verification and compatibility confirmation

  • Orders containing special-order, OEM, or limited-availability components

  • National holidays and non-working days

Processing time does not include delivery time. Orders begin shipping only after full payment is received unless otherwise agreed in writing.


3. Shipping Methods and Delivery

We offer the following delivery methods:

  1. Standard domestic and regional shipping within Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia

  2. Standard and express European Union delivery

  3. Worldwide international parcel and freight shipping

Carriers may include DPD, DHL, GLS, FedEx, UPS, national postal operators, or specialized freight forwarding companies depending on package size and destination.

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees. Typical transit times:

Delivery times may vary due to customs regulations, geographical location, carrier processing conditions, weather disruptions, or other factors beyond our control.

All exported shipments containing regulated automotive components are documented in compliance with customs rules. The customer is responsible for paying import duties and taxes required by local authorities in the destination country.


4. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and depend on the following factors:

  • Total package weight and dimensions

  • Destination location

  • Chosen delivery method

Shipping charges may change based on carrier pricing updates. Shipping fees are displayed before order confirmation.


5. Order Tracking

Once the order is shipped, the customer receives a tracking number via email. Tracking updates depend on the carrier's data systems and may not reflect real-time movement.

If the tracking link indicates delivery but the customer has not received the package, the customer must notify us within 5 calendar days so that a formal carrier investigation can be initiated. Investigation processing times vary by carrier and typically require 7–21 days.


6. Risk of Loss and Transfer of Ownership

Ownership rights and the risk of loss pass to the customer once the goods are handed over to the shipping carrier. In the event of damage during transit, the customer must report the issue to the carrier and retain all packaging materials for inspection.

If the package arrives damaged, the customer must immediately document damages and submit photographic evidence before opening the parcel. Failure to document visible damage may affect the ability to receive compensation.


7. Return and Exchange Policy

Returns are accepted within 30 days of the delivery date, provided that the items meet the following conditions:

  • The product is unused

  • The product is returned in its original packaging

  • The product is in resalable condition without signs of installation, modification, or tampering

The following items are non-returnable, except in cases of proven manufacturing defect:

  • Electrical and electronic automotive components

  • ECU modules, sensors, ignition systems

  • Software-dependent parts

  • Custom-ordered or VIN-programmed OEM items

  • Parts cut, installed, or otherwise altered

Returns that do not meet these conditions may be rejected or subject to restocking fees.


8. Return Procedure

  • Item(s) to be returned

  • Reason for return

  • Photographs if damage or defect is claimed

Upon approval, the customer will receive packaging and shipping instructions. Unauthorized returns will not be processed.


9. Return Shipping Costs

  • If the return is caused by an error on our part (incorrect product, documented defect), we cover return shipping costs.

  • If the return is due to customer preference, incorrect self-selected part, or cancelation, the customer is responsible for return shipping.


10. Refund Processing

Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days after the returned item has been inspected and approved. Refunds are issued to the original payment method only.

Refund amount may be reduced in cases of:

  • Missing packaging

  • Signs of use or installation

  • Damage during customer shipping
