Dodge Charger Carbon Fiber Demon Window Hood
We use a UV Clear gel coat only. This finish is buffed to a shine on all of our carbon fiber parts and accessories. The same gel coat is used on our fiberglass version, except that gel coat is black in color.
We do not use an automotive clear coat that yellows, fades or cracks over time. If your carbon fiber gets scratched there is no need to re-clear the whole part. Simply wetsand and re-buff for a completely new look. Digs gouges, scratches from flying debris? These can be filled with a layer of clear gelcoat and wet-sanded smooth and buffed again.
Gel coat has a tendency of drying out resulting in a white haze we recommend waxing with a Pure Carnauba at lease once a month for best results. Think of it like dry skin you have to keep it coated at all times. Ceramic coatings and PPF wrapping is fine for gel coat and poses no damage from long term use.
Note: We do not recommend fiberglass to be installed as is It is meant to be painted prior to installation.
Note: Guaranteed to fit with the OEM intake only. If you have an aftermarket intake it may need to modified.
On after market intakes you can try spinning the coupling with sensor for clearance but this is not the case with all intakes.
We will not take a return if it hits your intake.
