This program exceeds all legal requirements and includes tests that simulate real-life challenges on the road, as well as examinations of the materials in modern X-ray facilities. Polished wheels are additionally subjected to a series of tests, including a highly corrosive salt spray and a 28-day climate change program. Only after all tests have been passed can the wheels be sold as genuine Mercedes-Benz light alloy wheels. Each wheel is supplied without tires, hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
