Each wheel is precisely matched to the vehicle in terms of load capacity and dimensions. Before the alloy wheels can become your faithful companion on every journey, they undergo an extensive development and testing process. Each wheel design has to pass a large number of load tests in accordance with strict Mercedes-Benz standards, which far exceed the legal requirements. These include special test procedures that simulate real road traffic situations, as well as material tests using state-of-the-art X-ray equipment.



Glossy turned wheels must pass additional tests such as highly corrosive salt spray tests or a 28-day climate change program. Only when all tests have been successfully completed may the wheels be included in the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels.



AMG light-alloy wheels are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
