Each wheel design must pass various hardness tests, which are carried out in accordance with the strict Mercedes-Benz guidelines and exceed the legal requirements. These include special test methods that simulate real road traffic conditions, as well as material tests in state-of-the-art X-ray machines.
Gloss-turned wheels must pass additional tests, such as highly corrosive salt spray or a 28-day climate change program. Only when all tests have been successfully passed are the wheels included in the range as
original Mercedes-Benz light alloy wheels.
AMG light alloy wheels are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
