Redesigned Chase Bays PS Kit for Nissan S13, S14, or S15 with RB Swap is designed to eliminate the common factory power steering leaks, fluid spillover, & overheating issues w/ improved aesthetics, durability, & stealthy design. It is a full 100% upgraded A.N. Hose and Fitting replacement of the stock reservoir and hoses. From the reservoir to pump to rack (and cooler if upgraded). ALL Hose and Hose Ends are BMRS aka Brown and Miller Racing. This is the best Hose/Hose Ends in the world, the same components seen on NASCAR and Indy Car. All the Fitting Adapters are designed and manufactured by Chase Bays to be chassis specific for perfect leak free installs.
Our clever reservoir mounting brackets makes a few adjustments from stock. The bracket itself works for S13, S14 & S15 chassis unlike stock piece. On S13 the bolt holes used are slightly further back on shock tower (like S14 & S15) but positioning is nearly the same. We pushed reservoir toward engine 1' to allow room for wheel tubs.
If you have top mount setup then it may collide w/ reservoir. On our mockup chassis we have top mount GT2871R SR20DET & it still clears. Use our Install photos as reference.
Hoses & Adapters
High-pressure rack to pump hose is -6AN stainless steel, Teflon PTFE lined, black PVC coated. This coating is crucial, it makes hose resistant to chaffing if it routes against metal or fellow hose, -6AN rack to reservoir -10AN reservoir to pump hoses are abrasion resistant, black nylon sheathed, stainless steel reinforced. They are all completed w/ high end black aluminum AN fittings Metric to AN adapters for rack pump conversion to AN.
We upgrade factory rack connections. They use inner o-ring seal instead of sealing washer or flare seal, so hex will not visibly seat all the way. This is okay as seal happens on bottom of fitting. S chassis racks have deep threads so we make our own custom length adapters & use an o-ring twice thickness from stock one. Rest easy as you'll get to enjoy a leak free power steering setup for years to come.
Optional Chase Bays Fluid Cooler
Our optional inline heatsink cooler is all aluminum in construction. It is black anodized for a durable and stealthy finish. Very compact but very effective. We’ve seen 20º degree F drops in temperature from this cooler. If you have a track car, get the cooler. They need the additional volume and cooling power.
Applications
OUR KIT NOW WORKS WITH HICAS PUMPS. This should only be applicable to S1 and some S2 RB engines, most R33 and up are Electric Hicas. If you're unsure it is easy to tell, Hicas Pumps have two inlets and two outlets on the pump itself.
