Each wheel has to pass a large number of endurance tests, which are carried out in accordance with the strict Mercedes-Benz guidelines and exceed the legal requirements. This includes special test procedures that simulate real road traffic conditions, as well as examination of the materials in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities.



Gloss-turned wheels must pass additional tests, including highly corrosive salt spray tests and a 28-day climate change program. Only when all tests have been successfully passed may the wheels be included in the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light alloy wheels.
