Each wheel must pass a series of stringent endurance tests in accordance with the strict Mercedes-Benz standards, which exceed all legal requirements. These include special test procedures that simulate real road traffic conditions, as well as material tests in state-of-the-art X-ray machines.



Gloss-turned wheels must pass additional tests, including highly corrosive salt spray tests and a 28-day climate change program. Only when all tests have been successfully completed are the wheels included in the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels.



Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
