Each wheel design must pass a series of stringent endurance tests in accordance with the strict Mercedes-Benz guidelines, all of which exceed the legal requirements. These include special test procedures that simulate real-life challenges in road traffic as well as examinations of the materials in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities.



Gloss-turned wheels undergo additional tests such as highly corrosive salt spray or a 28-day climate change program. Only when all tests have been successfully passed are the wheels included in the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels.



Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels are supplied without tires, hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
