Whether on short or long journeys, the safety of young passengers should always be the top priority. That's why the KIDFIX M i-SIZE, which has been specially tested and designed for Mercedes-Benz cars, has a wide range of features to minimize the impact on the child in the event of a crash. For example, the child seat has large, softly padded side bolsters for lateral protection, as well as a rigid seat base, a stable belt guide and a particularly robust headrest attachment. This offers safety, especially for older children who are already strapped in with the 3-point vehicle belt. The ergonomic headrest also offers comfort when sleeping during the journey. Particularly practical: the child seat can be used by children aged between approx. 3.5 and 12 years (approval according toGB 27887-2011 for children from 100 to 150 cm, 15 to 36 kg body weight), as the belt guide and headrest can always be adjusted to the correct position for the child's height. For a comfortable seating position, the V-shaped backrest of the KIDFIX M i-SIZE can be continuously adjusted to the angle of the vehicle seat. The forward-facing seat also facilitates safe and error-free installation and removal thanks to its standard ISOFIX locking arms. The standard insertion aids can be used for support if they are not already integrated in the vehicle. The ISOFIT system also ensures a firm and secure connection between the vehicle and child seat even when the seat is unoccupied. The KIDFIX M-iSIZE has even been designed for use in Mercedes-Benz cars equipped with a beltbag. If required, the backrest of the seat can be removed to use it as a booster seat. Another plus: high-quality, soft and padded materials were used in the design of the child seat, which can be removed and washed if necessary. In vehicles without built-in ISOFIX attachment points, the KIDFIX M i-SIZE can alternatively be secured with the 3-point vehicle belt. The ISOFIX locking arms on the child seat can be folded down for this purpose.
