AMG light-alloy wheels are specially matched to the vehicle and offer maximum safety. Each wheel design has to pass an extensive development and testing program that complies with Mercedes-Benz guidelines. This includes special test procedures that simulate real challenges in road traffic as well as examinations of the materials in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities. Bright-turned wheels must also pass a series of tests such as highly corrosive salt spray or a 28-day climate change program before they are included in the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels. AMG light-alloy wheels are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks so that vehicle owners can adapt them to their needs.
