The wheels not only give the vehicle a stylish appearance, but also offer the highest safety standards. Each wheel design undergoes extensive testing to ensure that it complies with Mercedes-Benz guidelines. These include endurance tests that simulate real-life challenges on the road, as well as examinations of the materials in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities. Polished wheels have to pass additional tests such as highly corrosive salt spray or a 28-day climate change program. Only after all tests have been successfully completed can the wheels be added to the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light alloy wheels. These are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
