Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels are not only a visual highlight, but also a guarantee of maximum safety. Each design is subjected to an extensive testing program based on strict Mercedes-Benz guidelines, which also exceed the legal requirements. This includes endurance tests that simulate the load and dimensions of the vehicle, as well as examinations of the materials in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities. Polished wheels are also subjected to a series of additional tests, such as a climate change program or a corrosive salt spray test. Only after all tests have been passed may they be included in the range as an original Mercedes-Benz light alloy wheel. The wheels are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
