Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels are specially adapted to the vehicle and offer maximum safety. To ensure that the wheels meet all Mercedes-Benz guidelines, they are subjected to an extensive development and testing program. This includes endurance tests, special test procedures that simulate the challenges of road traffic and examinations of the materials in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities. Bright-turned wheels must pass additional tests such as highly corrosive salt spray or a 28-day climate change program before they are included in the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels. The scope of delivery includes the wheels without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
