Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels are unique and offer maximum safety. Each wheel design is specially adapted to the vehicle and must undergo an extensive development and testing program. This includes endurance tests in accordance with strict Mercedes-Benz guidelines, all of which exceed the legal requirements, as well as a simulation of the challenges of road traffic and examinations of the materials in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities. Bright-turned wheels are additionally tested for corrosive salt spray and a 28-day climate change program before they are added to the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light alloy wheels. All wheels are supplied without tires, hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
