Each wheel design is tested according to strict Mercedes-Benz guidelines and must pass numerous tests, including a simulation of road traffic challenges and examination of the materials in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities. Polished wheels are additionally tested for highly corrosive salt spray and a 28-day climate change program. Only after all tests have been successfully passed may the wheels be added to the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light alloy wheels. They are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
