The light-alloy wheels from Mercedes-Benz not only give the vehicle a more attractive appearance, but also ensure maximum safety.



Each wheel is precisely matched to the vehicle in terms of load and dimensions. Before the light alloy wheels can become reliable companions on every journey, they have to undergo an extensive development and testing process. Each wheel design has to pass a series of endurance tests, which are carried out in accordance with strict Mercedes-Benz guidelines and all of which exceed the legal requirements. This includes special test procedures that simulate real-life challenges in road traffic, as well as examinations of the materials in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities.



Gloss-turned wheels undergo additional tests, such as a highly corrosive salt spray or a 28-day climate change program. Only when all tests have been passed may the wheels be included in the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels.



Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
