AMG alloy wheels not only improve the appearance of the vehicle, but also ensure maximum safety.



Each wheel is precisely tailored to the corresponding vehicle in terms of load capacity and size. Before the alloy wheels are allowed to act as a safe companion on every journey, they have to undergo an extensive development and testing program. Each wheel design must pass a large number of endurance tests in accordance with strict Mercedes-Benz standards, which far exceed the legal requirements. These include special test procedures that simulate real road traffic conditions, as well as material tests in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities.



Gloss-turned wheels must pass additional tests such as highly corrosive salt spray or a 28-day climate change program. Only when all tests have been successfully completed may the wheels be included in the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels.



AMG light-alloy wheels are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
