Each design must undergo an extensive testing program that exceeds all legal requirements. This includes load tests, simulations of real road conditions and examinations of the materials in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities. Polished wheels are also subjected to a corrosive salt spray test and a 28-day climate change program test. Only if all tests are passed can the wheels be offered as genuine Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels. The scope of delivery includes the wheels without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks. These parts can be purchased separately in the store or as a complete wheel.
