Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels are specially adapted to the vehicle to ensure the highest possible level of safety. They are subject to an extensive development and testing program in which they have to pass various endurance tests in accordance with strict Mercedes-Benz guidelines. This includes special test procedures that simulate real challenges in road traffic as well as examinations of the materials in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities. Bright-turned wheels also undergo additional tests such as highly corrosive salt spray or a 28-day climate change program before they are included in the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels. The scope of delivery includes the light-alloy wheels without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
