Each wheel is perfectly matched to the vehicle in terms of its load capacity and dimensions. Before the alloy wheels can be considered reliable companions on every tour, they undergo a comprehensive development and testing process. All wheel designs must pass a large number of endurance tests, which are carried out in accordance with the strict Mercedes-Benz guidelines and exceed the legal requirements. This includes special test procedures that simulate real road traffic conditions, as well as examination of the materials in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities.
Gloss-turned wheels must pass additional tests, such as highly corrosive salt spray or a 28-day climate change program. Only when all tests have been successfully passed may the wheels be included in the range as
original Mercedes-Benz light alloy wheels.
AMG light alloy wheels are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
