AMG light-alloy wheels are designed not only to enhance the appearance of the vehicle, but also to meet the highest safety standards. Before approval, each wheel design is subjected to strict Mercedes-Benz guidelines that go beyond the legal requirements. These include special test procedures that simulate real-life challenges in road traffic, as well as examinations of the materials in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities. Polished wheels must also withstand highly corrosive salt spray and a 28-day climate change program. Only after all tests have been passed may the wheels be included in the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels. AMG light-alloy wheels are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks. Thanks to the precise adjustment to the vehicle, they offer maximum safety.
