Before being approved as reliable companions on every journey, the alloy wheels undergo a comprehensive development and testing process. All wheel designs must pass a series of demanding tests in accordance with strict Mercedes-Benz specifications, which exceed the legal requirements. This includes special test procedures that simulate real road traffic conditions and material examinations using state-of-the-art X-ray equipment.



Gloss-turned wheels must pass additional tests such as highly corrosive salt spray tests or a 28-day climate change program. Only when all tests have been successfully completed are the wheels included in the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels.



The AMG light-alloy wheels are delivered without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
