Each wheel design is tested according to strict Mercedes-Benz guidelines for its load-bearing capacity and dimensions, which far exceed the legal requirements. This includes tests that simulate real challenges in road traffic, as well as examinations of the materials in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities. Furthermore, bright-turned wheels undergo additional tests, such as highly corrosive salt spray or a 28-day climate change program. Only after all tests have been passed can the wheels be added to the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light alloy wheels. All wheels are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
