Each wheel design has to pass numerous endurance tests in accordance with strict Mercedes-Benz standards, which far exceed the legal requirements. These include special test procedures that simulate real road traffic situations, as well as material tests in state-of-the-art X-ray machines.



Gloss-turned wheels have to pass additional tests, such as highly corrosive salt spray or a 28-day climate change program. Only when all tests have been successfully completed may the wheels be included in the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels.
