These include special test procedures that simulate real-life challenges in road traffic as well as examinations of the materials in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities. Polished wheels are also subjected to highly corrosive salt spray and a 28-day climate change program. Only after all the tests have been passed can the wheels be added to the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels. Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels are supplied without hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
