With Mercedes-Benz light-alloy wheels, you not only get an aesthetically pleasing vehicle, but also maximum safety. This is the result of an extensive development and testing program in which every wheel design has to pass a wide range of endurance tests in accordance with strict Mercedes-Benz guidelines. These include special test procedures that simulate real challenges in road traffic, as well as examinations of the materials in state-of-the-art X-ray facilities. In addition, bright-turned wheels have to withstand highly corrosive salt spray and a 28-day climate change program. Only when all the tests have been passed are the wheels added to the range as genuine Mercedes-Benz light alloy wheels. These are supplied without tires, wheel hub caps, valve caps, wheel bolts and wheel locks.
