Make your Mercedes shine! With the LED technology and the light guide of the radiator grille, the central star of your vehicle will light up when unlocking by remote control or when opening the door or tailgate. This effect is only available when the engine is switched off. Customers in the USA and Canada have the option of having the central star illuminated permanently, even when the engine is running. This function is not available in conjunction with DISTRONIC (code 233/239) and is only available for vehicles with a central star.
