AutoPartsMarketplace UAB operates a structured, professionally regulated marketplace environment for the sale of automotive parts, components, and accessories. To ensure reliability, transparency, and customer satisfaction, all sellers must comply with the standards described below. These rules apply to all vendors, whether private sellers, workshops, resellers, distributors, or manufacturers.

Our goal is to maintain a marketplace where buyers can rely on accurate part compatibility, verified product origin, fair pricing, and professional support — and where responsible sellers can grow profitably without facing unfair competition from counterfeit suppliers or dishonest trading practices.


1. Seller Registration and Account Verification

1.1 Account Creation

To begin selling, you must create a seller account via the marketplace dashboard.
Information provided must be truthful, complete, and up to date.

1.2 Company Verification (KYC / Supplier Verification)

For businesses, the following must be confirmed:

  • Legal entity registration

  • VAT / TAX ID (if applicable)

  • Valid operational address

  • Authorized representative contact details

For private sellers, identity verification may be required.

1.3 Seller Profile Requirements

Your seller page must include:

  • Company name (or individual seller name if private)

2. Product Listing Standards

2.1 Product Accuracy

All listings must correspond to actual products you can supply.

2.2 Mandatory Information for Each Product

Each item must include:

  • Manufacturer / Brand Name

  • OEM / Part Number(s) / Cross-reference codes

  • Compatible vehicle models, years, engines, chassis codes

  • Condition (New / OEM New / Remanufactured / Used / Aftermarket / Other)

  • Warranty terms (if provided)

  • Packaging type (bulk, original manufacturer packaging, neutral packaging, etc.)

VIN compatibility support is highly encouraged.

2.3 Photographs and Visuals

Images must:

  • Be clear, sharp, and well-lit

  • Show the actual product (stock render allowed only if item is brand new OEM/OES)

  • Include multiple angles if condition can affect buying decision

No watermarks with website URLs or competitor brand names (seller brand is allowed).

2.4 Prohibited Products

  • Counterfeit OEM parts

  • Fake branded packaging

  • Items with removed or falsified serial numbers

  • Parts from stolen vehicles (law enforcement cooperation applies)

  • Airbags / SRS components without certification (depends on local legal regulation)


3. Pricing, Payments, and Transparency

3.1 Price Integrity

Sellers must list full final price visible to the buyer before checkout.
Hidden fees, forced add-ons, or post-purchase price changes are prohibited.

3.2 Payment Processing

Payments are handled through secure checkout. Sellers may receive payouts via supported methods based on marketplace payout schedule.

3.3 Tax and VAT Compliance

Sellers are responsible for tax reporting under their jurisdiction.
Marketplace may require VAT documentation if selling inside the EU.


4. Shipping, Packaging, Returns, and Warranties

4.1 Handling and Shipment Times

Orders must be prepared and dispatched within the timeframe listed in your seller settings.
Repeated delays negatively affect seller rating.

4.2 Packaging Requirements

Packaging must:

  • Protect the item during international transit

  • Include all accessories and documents originally supplied with the product

  • Not hide manufacturer identification codes

4.3 Tracking and Delivery Confirmation

Tracking numbers must be uploaded to the order panel.
No tracking = no seller protection.

4.4 Returns and Refunds

Manipulating reviews (buying fake reviews, asking customers to change reviews under pressure) is prohibited.
