Warranty Policy

This Warranty Policy outlines the terms under which AutoPartsMarketplace UAB provides warranty support for products purchased through the platform autopartsmarketplace.lt. The purpose of this document is to ensure clarity, transparency, and fairness regarding customer rights and seller responsibilities.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Warranty Policy.

1. General Warranty Principles

All products offered through AutoPartsMarketplace UAB are sourced from verified manufacturers, OEM/OES suppliers, or certified aftermarket producers.
Warranty terms may vary depending on the product category, brand, and manufacturer.

The warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects

  • Material defects

  • Functional defects that prevent normal operation under intended use

The warranty does not cover:

  • Incorrect installation

  • Improper use or handling

  • Damage caused by third-party interference

  • Wear-and-tear consumable items (filters, oils, spark plugs, brake pads etc., unless otherwise stated)

2. Warranty Coverage Period

Warranty duration depends on the type of part:

Product Category Standard Warranty Period
OEM & Genuine Parts 12 – 24 months
OES / Supplier Original Parts 6 – 18 months
Certified Aftermarket Parts 6 – 12 months
Used / Refurbished Parts As stated individually in product listing
Performance / Tuning Components Warranty varies depending on manufacturer terms

If warranty duration differs from standard periods, it will be indicated on the product page or invoice.

3. Conditions Required for Warranty Eligibility

To activate and maintain warranty rights:

  1. The product must be purchased directly from AutoPartsMarketplace UAB.

  2. Payment must be made only to the company’s official corporate bank account.

  3. The part must be installed professionally in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications.

  4. Diagnostic documentation may be requested in case of warranty claims.

Warranty is valid only if the product is installed correctly and used for its intended purpose.

We reserve the right to request evidence such as:

  • Vehicle VIN

  • Diagnostic reports

  • Photos/videos of the issue

  • Proof of installation performed by a certified workshop (if applicable)

This procedure ensures proper evaluation and prevents fraudulent claims.

4. What is Not Covered

The warranty does not apply if the failure is caused by:

  • Incorrect installation or forced fitting

  • Vehicle misuse, racing, or abnormal load conditions

  • Mechanical damage or modification of the part

  • Use of incompatible fluids or substandard lubricants

  • Damage resulting from related component failure (e.g., turbo failure caused by oil starvation)

  • Electrical parts damaged during installation (ECUs, modules, sensors) where incorrect connection may occur

Additionally, the warranty does not cover:

  • Shipping costs for sending items for inspection

  • Labor costs associated with installation or removal

  • Downtime, towing, or commercial losses

Warranty only covers the part itself, not associated service expenses.

5. Warranty Claim Procedure

To file a claim, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our support team at:
    [email protected]

  2. Provide the following information:

    • Order number or invoice number

    • Part number and description

    • Vehicle VIN

    • Description of the issue

    • Diagnostic confirmation or service report (if available)

  3. Our technical evaluation team will review the case and may request additional information.

  4. If the claim is approved, we will offer one of the following solutions:

    • Replacement with the same or equivalent part

    • Repair (if applicable and approved by manufacturer)

    • Refund in accordance with warranty terms

Processing time for warranty claims typically ranges from 5–14 business days, depending on supplier requirements.

6. Responsibility and Fair Assessment

AutoPartsMarketplace UAB acts in accordance with:

  • European Consumer Protection Law

  • EU Warranty and Product Quality Regulations

  • VAT and commercial transparency requirements

We work with verified suppliers and maintain full traceability of product origin, including:

  • Manufacturer codes

  • Batch numbers

  • Import documentation (where applicable)

This ensures fair evaluation and equal protection for all customers.

7. Used and Refurbished Parts

Used and remanufactured components are sold only when explicitly labeled as such.
Warranty terms for these parts are limited and specified individually in product descriptions.

No warranty applies to used parts that:

  • Have been disassembled

  • Have had serial labels removed

  • Were installed incorrectly

  • Were modified after receipt

8. Performance and Tuning Components

Performance parts can modify factory specifications.
Warranty is only valid if the manufacturer explicitly supports the modification type.

If a tuning component affects related systems (e.g., ECU remap affecting turbo lifetime), warranty may be limited or void.

We recommend professional consultation before purchase.

9. Final Provisions

AutoPartsMarketplace UAB remains committed to:

  • Safe, transparent transactions

  • Professional support

  • Long-term customer satisfaction

This Warranty Policy ensures that customers receive reliable parts from verified suppliers, and that warranty processes are handled fairly and consistently.
